Human History In 2098, humanity made its first interstellar trip to a sun-like star 23.20 lightyears from Earth. The ship, called the 'Riverside', was a multi-generational ship which departed with 1200 passengers. The ship reached its destination, using fusion rockets, in 2422 and established a permanent settlement on a terrestrial planet which they christened New Earth. April 3rd was from then on celebrated as Colonies Day in honor of the founding of the first interstellar colony. By the time the journey was complete, work had already begun on a more practical and fast method of interstellar travel, and in 2430, the first intHuman History

Lonely Henry part 3 Third entry... good for me.Lonely Henry part 3
I was almost certain I was the only person left in this ship, but now I'm not so sure. Three or four times today I heard someone walking around. Not really close or anything; it sounded pretty far off. Sound travels pretty far in some parts of the ship, especially in the halls. If you stomp your foot in one of those things, you hear this echoing SHOOOOM type noise that lasts for about three or four seconds and then it fades. But like I was saying, I kept hearing footsteps, and my more irrational side wants to say I heard someone shout from really fa

Lonely Henry part 2 Second log entry. Great. Anyways, I was poking around in the bridge again today. I looked at some of the monitors and gadgets up there and apparently the ship is traveling at just a hair under light speed. Well, it was, anyways. I shut off the engines for a while. Way I see it, interstellar space is so fucking big it doesn't matter if I'm traveling at light speed, I still won't get anywhere anytime soon. And besides, the ship's still moving pretty damn fast... momentum, I guess. I don't know how to slow it, but does it really matter? What I was really interested in were the jumLonely Henry part 2

Lonely Henry part 1 Has it been days? Weeks? I can't tell. Something went wrong. Everyone on the ship died when it happened, everyone except for me. I searched most of the ship, but I found no one. Big ship, though. Maybe there's one or two still alive in here somewhere. Probably not. The ship was leaving Earth orbit, last I remember, prepping for hyperspace jump. I heard the warp drive making that noise it does. Then, that weird jolt feeling in your stomach when the ship simultaneously leaves one point in space and enters space in another. I don't remember anything after that. I wake up sometimeLonely Henry part 1
